Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and clean hostel. We stayed in the 20-person mixed dormitory and the beds/facilities were all new and very comfortable. There was an issue with the parking, because we booked it, paying for it, and once we arrived they informed us that we would not be able to park the car, because it was full. This information arrived after an hour. I am giving it 5 stars anyway, because despite this misunderstanding, I highly recommend it for the cleanliness and how it is maintained.

Very clean, modern hostel and perfect location

Very modern hostel and amazing location. Price a little high for a hostel but worth it for the neighborhood.

Mind blowing customer service

Booked 6 nights directly through El Josemari’s website to support the hostel and avoid third-party fees. That turned out to be a mistake.
A week before my last night, my plans changed and I asked to cancel just that night. Communication was already an issue—the listed phone number didn’t reach the hostel, and it took multiple attempts to contact someone with access to my reservation.
Once I did, I was told cancellation wasn’t possible due to policy. I raised it again in person, noting the hostel was fully booked and the bed could likely be resold. Staff showed no flexibility and kept referring to “policy” and “management decisions.” I asked to speak with management and was told they were “too busy.”
What stood out most was the attitude: a front desk manager mentioned they have an 8.8 rating on Booking and that it’s “good enough.” That mindset shows in how situations like this are handled.
Strict policies are one thing—zero flexibility, poor communication, and no willingness to engage with customers is another.
If you book here, assume no exceptions will be made, even in reasonable situations—and booking direct offers no benefit.

Always happy again!

I had booked a mixed 6 bedroom for 3 nights and was super satisfied. Everything was clean and was really permanently cleaned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location in the beautiful old town of Palma.
