Happy days
Great location for every thing, hotel has been here a long time and can do with a refresh update in some areas. Staff we met have all been excellent and helpful. We are still in the hotel room 4716, which has great views of the pool and beach.

Great Hotel, Nice Pools, Shockingly Bad Entertainment
We just recently spent a week on holiday at the VIK San Antonio resort. The hotel itself is a nice hotel, the rooms are spacious and the housekeeping service is excellent, in fact probably the best and most efficient I’ve experienced in a hotel for a long time. The beds were always made well and the bathroom cleaned nicely with fresh towels every day. The reception staff were always helpful, and answered all questions well. They were always friendly and helpful with excellent service, for example if you needed to order a taxi they would do it for you on a online system and it would usually be no more than 5-10 minutes before it arrived to pick you up. They offer a pool towel hire service at $10 deposit per towel which you get back at the end of your stay if you present the ticket given to you when you take the deposit out. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The restaurant had an excellent choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner food, with the staff extremely nice and friendly. We were all inclusive and glad we chose this option of board. A wide selection of food, something for everyone. I would rate the food a 7/10 in my opinion, everything was nice and fresh but the only downside I would say personally is I found a lot of the meat quite tasteless and chewy. A wide selection of soft drinks, spirits and beer. Cocktails were not included, only the cocktail of the day. If you wanted any other cocktail, you had to pay for it, which I found a bit strange for an ‘all inclusive’. Ice creams outside at the pool bar were also not included and had to be purchased. All areas of the hotel including toilets, pool areas, restaurant and bedrooms very clean and tidy.
Now for the major downfall of this hotel, in my opinion. We visited as a group of three, one of us 19 and two of us in our early twenties. I am pleased we stayed close to the strip, because the entertainment at this hotel is absolutely dire. They had a different ‘act’ on every night. In my opinion, the entertainment was awful. One night they had a singer that didn’t even know half the words to the songs he was ‘singing’. Considering this hotel claim to be for all ages, the entertainment was heavily catered to the over 60’-70’s in my opinion. Most the evening entertainment was definitely for the older person. We were very disappointed with this. The quality of it was also not good. The hotel could benefit from doing some interactive nights, like karaoke, a bingo etc with small prizes, it was all just sit and watch quietly. Absolutely no entertainment for the children at all. This obviously did not bother us as we had no kids with us, but an observation I soon picked up on. The had a children’s club and pool, I cannot comment on these facilities as we didn’t use them but useful for people to know. The daytime entertainment was 1 or 2x a day water aerobics at the pool, and I saw one of the girls play bowels with a few elderly gentlemen one day. That was it. There didn’t seem to be anything else going on, anywhere. Such a shame, because with a bit more liveliness and enthusiasm, this hotel could be great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. But we probably wouldn’t return for these reasons.

Wonderful holiday in a lovely quiet hotel
We are recently back from another brilliant visit to this hotel. Our enjoyment is based on the fact it meets our holiday requirements mainly a quiet unobtrusive environment. Yes it nots your very small children's ideal location if you want a loud super activity environment.
We were All inclusive and its value for money as we rarely leave the hotel. Maybe at night for a stroll after dinner to the mini golf - Bowling place across the road or the shop.
The Food was wide and varied and if you could not find something to suit you on a given night . The breakfast is excellent and as with all meals the fruit quality and variety was tremendous.
The staff throughout the hotel are brilliant and I would repeat they are working in a very warm climate with some extremely demanding and sometimes rude visitors. I witnessed one man mouthing abusive comments under his breath at the pool bar where the staff were under enormous pressure. The man behind the bar could hear him clear but held his composure and remained professional. No one doing their job especially in 33 degree should have listen to such rudeness.
We compliment all the staff especially our waiter Lianghi Li (Sorry about spelling) he is a credit to the hotel but so are the whole staff.
If you want to pick out areas where more attention is required its not personel . The hotel is not your supermodern location and needs an uplift in places with repairs to tiles walls and paint. I'm sure hotel management are more than well aware of this.
Again we had a wonderful stay based on our holiday requirements.
We will be back again next year.

Perfect location fantastic food!
Recently returned from a last minute booking of this hotel.
It was faultless.
Hotel is in the perfect location situated on the beach. Lots of shops bars and restraunts a stones throw away.
Rooms big and spacious with a large balcony area. Cleaned daily.
Tea and coffee facilities in room and also bottled water left daily by the cleaners.
Pool areas are great 2 larger pools and one baby pool, always plenty of beds.
Food was fantastic always lots of choice and piping hot! The pool bar food was outstanding and made to order.
Every member of staff we encountered was lovely and friendly.
Some reviews say it isn't geared towards families and I disagree the entertainment team and children's club facilities were great.
Two different entertainments on a night.
I can see why people return year after year to this hotel it's lovely and in a great location. Will definitely be returning!

First time in this hotel, would go back, everywhere was clean and tidy, rooms cleaned every day, staff friendly and food was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room had a fantastic sea view.
