Good hotel, but

We arrived around 10:00 AM, as I had notified in advance. The welcome was rude and completely indifferent. The receptionist took our ID details and said I would receive a message when our rooms were ready—something that, of course, never happened. I had booked three rooms with a water view, but mine faced the city, which I consider a downgrade in accommodation. The initial staff member had promised the rooms would be on the same floor, but they turned out to be on two different ones. There was constant crowding in front of the elevators and the reception desk, leading to long waits. Since it was the first day of my vacation, I didn't want to get into an argument or deal with any further hassle. On the plus side, the hotel has been recently renovated; the rooms are spacious, with comfortable bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The location is excellent and quiet, and all major sights are within walking distance. However, the Executive Lounge was usually overcrowded. Overall, the hotel seems geared towards serving cruise groups, so elite members would be better off looking for a different hotel. I do not recommend it.

While we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, excellent location, and overall comfort of the hotel, I am truly sorry that your experience with our service did not meet your expectations. In particular, I regret that your arrival experience failed to deliver, and that you experienced delays and inconvenience when trying to navigate the hotel.
I also apologize that your expectations regarding the room arrangements were not met. We understand how important it can be to have rooms located together, especially when travelling as a group, and we regret the disappointment this caused.
Your comments regarding the waiting times around Reception and the elevators, as well as the Executive Lounge being crowded, are also noted. Comfortable stay.

Check in was very easy, kindly upgraded our room, and went above and beyond to help us make changes to our reservation. Her professionalism ( sorry I forgot her name ) efficiency, and genuine hospitality made our stay seamless and memorable.
Executive lounge was great with enough food and drink options. Breakfast was also great. We truly appreciated everything you did and look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Copenhagen.

Great location and service

Best location walking distance from all major attractions. The staff and service is excellent everywhere, from room cleaning to restaurants. Property is a bit dated and rooms are on the smaller side but everything else makes up for a great stay. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed in a Deluxe room and as we got out of the elevator, we were greeted by worn out carpets and a musty smell. The smell in the room was strong, and it looked worn out. Apparently, they have renovated rooms on the higher floors. Be mindful of where you stay.

The hotel is old and needs an upgrade badly. Our room at $ 530/night didn't have a coffee maker or even a tea kettle, the shower is in a bathtub which I can't recommend for older people
