The room is functional and comes with a decent size and a good bathtub. The only major drawback is the view. We checked in late and didn’t see it until the morning. It woke you up faster than a coffee! Maybe reconsider your booking if you are sensitive to views.

We had the superior king room. Large and spacious. Nice bathroom layout with a bath as well. Good amenities, clean. Non smoking room.
Our room was facing the office building, which is a bit dark. We would have preferred a more open view. But not a real issue when you're out all day anyway.
Our Aircon did not heat and the HDMI connection to the tv did not work somehow. Perhaps both were fixable but it was late in the evening, so we did not call reception.
My wife received a large red Valentines rose on arrival, great welcome. Cheerful and helpful staff, also in English and Cantonese.
The street has various simple shops, massage and hair salons, and eateries and if you walk about 10 minutes, you reach Nantou Ancient city, a fun old district with various free small museums about the old Nanshan, plenty coffee shops, dessert and ice cream shops and nice restaurants of all price ranges. Quite touristic, worth visiting and looking for something to do or a nice dinner out.
