Great restaurant food and cheap rooms

This hotel is budget but is very close to the Red Lion (bar) and there are loads of cheap eats available in the area, notably the taxi place across the road was the cheapest and most delicious place I've eaten in Qatar, a real cultural experience.
There is a supermarket round the corner which is walkable and has loads of products at reasonable prices.
The staff here are friendly and accommodating and the facilities are decent with a poll and gym etc. The staff will help you as much as they can and the other patrons were very variable as I went during the F1 weekend.
The food in the restaurant is much better than the hotel suggests; I ate here often and the chef was very good and the staff very professional and formal. I would consider eating here even if I wasn't staying here.
There are souvenirs available in the foyer area and you can have tea and coffee which are all well-presented for afternoon tea.
Some of the rooms are a bit basic and with hard ceramic floors you can hear upstairs when they scrape their chairs across the floor all night.
I shall likely stay here again mostly because of the location, cheap price and great restaurant food. The restaurant would also be good for hosting events and functions, it's a real shame it's underused as it's really nice.
There is on-site parking and parking available on the street with good transport links to Airport and City Centre with a bus stop outside.

It’s sort of old and rundown what you’d expect for the price but there’s no airport shuttle as advertised and a lot of smoke leaked into my room, don’t expect too much for that price. But it was clean and fine. I slept.

The rooms are quite dated but I can’t complain as the price of the hotel was cheap so it is value for money.

No complaints, wonderful stay, very friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything. Huge supermarket 5 minutes walk with a take away food counter and a 24/7 money exchange kiosk with an unbeatable rate. ❤️❤️location & hotel rates
