Wonderful Inn
The owner, Jeff, is visible, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has a wonderful stay. He shared that he and his family have owned and operated the inn for over 20 years, and it absolutely shows. There is so much pride and care in every detail.
The location is excellent, with plenty of convenient on-site parking and easy access to everything we wanted to explore.
Now let’s talk about comfort…
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were wonderful, and the towels…wow! Jeff told us they prioritize high-quality towels and replace every single one each June. It may sound like a small detail, but after a day of exploring, those thick, soft towels felt like such a luxury. The pillows were excellent, the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool, the refrigerator worked flawlessly, and the shower had fantastic water pressure—something travelers always appreciate!
For me, the only tiny suggestion would be to bring your own hair conditioner if you normally use one. Everything else was just right.
And then there’s breakfast…
It’s included with your stay, and it’s far beyond what most hotels offer. Fresh eggs cooked to order, a beautiful fresh fruit salad, yogurt, assorted breads for toasting, homemade jams, coffee, a wonderful assortment of teas, and several juices to choose from. We left every morning completely satisfied and ready for the day ahead.
Considering the comfort, location, hospitality, and breakfast, I honestly couldn’t believe the value. This is the kind of place you hope to find when traveling—comfortable, welcoming, and run by people who genuinely care.
Thank you, Jeff, for making our stay such a pleasant one. Next time we are back in Parry Sound, we will stay at The Bayside Inn again.

Our favorite place on our 9 day trip.
The owner, had a lot of local knowledge and recommendations. It was a pleasure talking to him in the morning.
In the morning, there was a nice line up of homemade jams, breads, yogurt, juice and coffee. I didn't expect to be asked how I liked my eggs.
Were were there on Canada Day and were able to watch the fireworks from the balcony.
Not only was this place our favorite on the trip, the town was our favorite as well.
