The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only issues were a hairy opened soap bar left in the shower and some takeout food in the mini-fridge from other guests.

The fellow who checked us in was super nice, and when I asked for two more pillows, he was more than happy to get them for me. It was great to have a fridge for our food and drinks, and the room was clean. The worst part was the bed. It was really thin and looked like more of a futon mattress. When we first sat on it, it seemed okay, but by the middle of the night, the mattress had compressed, and our backs were very sore. That would be the only reason I wouldn't stay there again. Otherwise, the location is right downtown, so that's convenient.

If has been awhile since the hotel saw a true improvement. The third owner was there this summer, since the purchase in 2016. Carpets were old and dirty, bathtub/shower was dirty, there was a padded toilet seat - yuk. Towels were from the 90s, and wifi was set to limit signal so, I could not even go on Facebook to log my trip or give this rating. Overall, if he hadn’t been so friendly and honest about the situation, the whole experience was poor.

The heat did not work buy we were given a portable electric heater that was good.
Towels were pretty old.

It’s in a great location for enjoying the hot springs and offers good value for money. The hot water works well, and I especially liked having a microwave.
