Well worth a visit !

Lovely clean spacious hotel , we were in a deluxe family suite this hotel has the most exceptional beautiful views absolutely stunning
Breakfast was ok , Zoe’s restaurant on site is excellent food service outstanding and yet again fabulous views
Gym good and had a massage really good
Hotel is in a fantastic location short walk along the promenade to lots of bars & restaurants or hop on the number 6 bus appx 5 mins walk from hotel to the bus stop and it takes you into the Old Town weather was amazing 30/34 degrees at the time we stayed we also did the hotel speedboat trip to the 3 islands with Captain Robert excellent trip you HAVE to do this just WOW book with hotel guest relations thank you Hotel Neptun we will be back

Don't go there

The location of the hotel is the only positive thing about it. Luckily there are other hotels nearby as well .
We stayed for one night for business. Hotel looks as a ghost place. Nothing is working inside - space, fitness, restaurant, pool, lobby bar. They should remove these features from their website. So, for the price they request it becomes quite pricey for what they offer. Breakfast is also quite basic, again for the price they request.
The worst part was the service. Not very talkative ladies, not giving basic information. They let you use the parking spots in front of the hotel, but they don't inform you that there is a special way in which you need to park in order not to get a fine, which is ridiculous, when using a hotel parking ....all in all...DO NOT go there.

Disgusting hotel, very loud

Disgusting hotel!! During both of our nights there was blaringly loud music from some events that we were not informed about! Even at the one "party", the woman celebrating got upset because we called the police officers after midnight! Don't waste your time with this excuse for a hotel, either as a guest or in the restaurant.

A good hotel, but the city around it needs work.

Plan was to sleep in or near Vidin, but I was not impressed by the general appearance of the city. At a fuel-station, another motorcycle-rider told me he had not found a suitable place to stay and would continue to the next city. I persisted.. I used the internet to re-check and finally choose Neptune.
Reservation by telephone was smooth, reception spoke english.
Finding the hotel was easy: it is very nicely located on the main Boulevard.
Check-in was smooth, cards-accepted, and the room was nice, very spacious, and cool. The general impression of the hotel is Old but Good. Clean, Spacious and Comfortable.
Wifi was OK.
I had to work a little and didnt take the time to check the spa/pool area, but a short walk along the Danube made me think this city has a lot of (tourism)potential, and hotel Neptun is Ideally located on the Quay of the Danube.
Dinner at the hotel was ok, the garden can be a nice place to sit and relax. Sleep was Good, and breakfast, in the garden, was good as well.
All in all a good place to stay in Vidin, and good value for money too.
This hotel could become a regular stop on my trips to Bg, and I hope the city improves a little over time as well.

One night stay

I stayed at the hotel just for one night with my husband. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to use the swimming pool or the sauna which were included in the price. The room was very spacious, beautiful and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dark for my taste. The view from the room is so picturesque with the quiet Danube. The only thing which I didn't enjoy was the breakfast : there was no staff to explain you how it works and what is included, there was coffee machine, juice, sliced bread and plates with few slices of salami, cheese, butter, jam and boiled egg. I was expecting also some pastries, fresh fruits and vegetables, some yougurt, honestly for this price of one night stay the breakfast could be better. Also there is no concierge helping with the luggage.
