No no no this is not a hotel
The experience was surreal and extremely negative. The space is much more like a dormitory or precarious hostel. I stayed for three days and, right upon arrival, the room was not properly prepared. I witnessed the faxines putting sheets removed from a basket right on the bed in front of me. When they noticed the state of the bathroom — visibly dirty — they commented that there was no time to clean it. The bathroom was in completely unacceptable conditions.
There were no clean towels, no face towel, no bath towel, no basic toilet kit. On the second day, when asked at the reception if there were towels to take a bath, the attendant handed me a dirty and sealed towel, which forced me to leave the hotel and buy a towel on my own to be able to hygienize me minimally.
The blanket provided was a red blanket, taken from another room in front of me, dirty and full of carpets. The room had a strong mould smell, and the beds were in very bad condition, almost falling to pieces.
The internet is nonexistent or totally unstable — I couldn’t even send an email, which makes the place inviable for those traveling for work. The bathroom has a window that does not close, as it is tied with wires, forcing the guest to take a cold bath.
In addition, there was a problem in the reception: I took two candies worth R$ 2,50 each and, at the time of payment, I was charged R$ 10,00, with the justification that the previous attendant had made a mistake.
The only positive point was a first-day attendant, polite and caring — however, this does not compensate for the general precariousness, especially in the most basic and indispensable aspect of any accommodation: hygiene.
Summary: If it is just to sleep, without any expectation of cleanliness, comfort or structure, you may serve minimally. However, I do not recommend it in any way for families or for those travelling for work. The biggest sin of this place is the lack of hygiene.
