Basic but nice place to stay after 4 days in the Pantanal!

Clean hotel with great breakfast. Room was pretty chilly but otherwise had a great stay. Shower worked well, as did the wifi and receptionists were helpful - despite my broken portuguese.
Good location - 2 blocks from the supermarket and main plaza, 1 block from restaurants, taxis and post office.

Average but good enough

We stayed here two nights ago randomly after we arrived at the border and our plans didn’t ‘go to plan’. We ended up booking a tour for the following day but needed somewhere to stay that night so the tour agent took us to Pousada Laura Vicuna. The staff were nice and the hotel was very quiet. It is a bit dated (and more like a hostel with some private rooms/bathrooms) and almost a bit creepy, but I would stay there again. They were happy to show us a room before we decided whether we wanted to stay but the one they showed us smelled of old cigarette smoke so we asked for a different one and they were happy to show us another. We had a private room with private bathroom, air conditioner, TV, mini fridge, double bed, hot shower and free wifi that worked well. It was pretty comfortable, everything worked well and we felt safe enough. Breakfast was included and was very basic but sufficient. Good location within walking distance to a good restaurant, shops, supermarket and ATMs.
If going to Corumba again, I would stay here.

Basic inexpensive hotel

We stayed two nights at the Hotel Laura Vicuna. Our room was very basic, with two single beds, a small refrigerator, a small TV, an air conditioner, and only one light in the room. The bath was small, and felt like a bathroom on a ship, where the shower flows onto the floor, and things tend to get wet. There was a big squeegee for mopping up the water after a shower.
Bring soap!
The breakfast in the morning was adequate, and our interaction with the staff (who did not speak English) was satisfactory. One room did not have a key when we arrived, as apparently the previous guest forgot to turn it in upon departure. We were told that a key would be available at 6 PM, and that was exactly when we got the replacement key.
We enjoyed the music festival which was going on in town during our stay.

Basic, clean hotel

We stayed for two nights en route from Bonito to Quijarra. Our first impression was that it felt a bit like a rooming house but it served its purpose. It was clean and comfortable and a few blocks froma lovely serve yourself restaurant next to Dolce cafe. Almost accross the road Iis a noted artist's house-you cannot miss it because of the huge toucan statues and a big statue of St. FRANCIS in the front yard- it is open to the public but hard to get correcy info re opening times.
Reception staff speak only Portuguese. Breakfasts are the usual fare-fruit, cereal, bread, cheese and coffee (and, ofcourse, CAKE

Bom custo beneficio

Bom hotel pra quem quer passar uma noite ,preço muito bom,hotel limpo ,café da manhã bom,estacionamento,com certeza recomendo pelo preço localização pois Corumbá hotéis um pouco acima média e este está dentro um bom atendimento tambem
