Don’t come this lodge!

We had very bad experience in this accommodation. They cheated us to change a room where the toilet couldn’t be used. We had to use a public guest toilet instead. We asked to refund us that night. They refused. Besides, this lodge is far away from everything and all facilities were dated. The breakfast & dinner were very poor. But there was no any shops and restaurants around. It’s an isolated accommodation where you couldn’t enjoy a holiday.

Good location on the road between Kazungula and Kasane.

We arrived without a reservation. Staff were helpful and showed us several room options. Room was clean and modern, air conditioned, plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy, maids were good. Would stay again.

Hotel under going upgrading

The reception and key handover was quick. The room did not look good as the walls had crack filler all over the walls.The room and bedding was clean. The bathroom was clean but the shower had a curtain instead of a door and the soap dish was hanging loose.A fridge and kettle with coffee and tea was supplied.The tv needed tuning every time you switched it off and no great programs to watch.It did not look like a hotel to me but more like a lodge.The parking for your vehicle is behind walls and a gate with a security guard.The wi-fi is also very erratic when it does work.It was being upgraded but too expensive for what you get.The only good thing about it was the proximity to the Chobe river and national park and being close to the borders of Zambia,Vic Falls and shopping centres with outlets like Shoprite,Spar,clothing stores and fuel service stations.We arranged to visit Vic Falls and before booking accomodation enquired whether I could pay in South African Rands and it was acceptable but on arrival was told you can only pay with Pula which we had to arrange with a money changer.Also have Pula available if purchasing fuel.Would not use this establishment unless it is upgraded because it is too expensive for what you get.
