Quiet location, good facilities and breakfast and yet close to Ghent.

Recommended.
Quietly located in the green and yet only a five-minute walk from good restaurants and shops. Also five minutes to Tram Line 2, which takes you to the heart of Ghent in 30 minutes.
We had the suite: Beautiful and fully equipped. Spacious, light and wonderfully warm due to the underfloor heating.
The breakfast is extensive and of good quality. A very hospitable and friendly couple ensures a pleasant stay.

Nice stay in a beautiful setting

Booked this B&B for my friend who was visiting me. Arrival was bit strange, noone there altough i called to tell them when we would be there. It makes you realize you are on holidays but can imagine if you just had a long trip its not really fun. Room was nice, even got an upgrade the next day. The garden is huge and beautiful to have a walk or just sit there. Breakfast was ok. The owner is a relaxed person, always in for a chat. Nice place close to Gent.

Beware owners private seating area

We stayed two nights in this charming country hotel. Surroundings were tranquil, rooms were quirky and breakfast was tasty.
But beware of the owners private (unmarked) seating area. He was most rude when I sat there on our last morning, delivering a lecture to me in front of the other guests. I later discovered that one of the other guests had received the same lecture! It would be most helpful if a small sign saying PRIVATE was strategically placed if they are so precious about this particular table and chair set.

Beautiful guest house

Stayed here for a weekend in October with my husband and parents. The hosts were very welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The guest house is set in beautiful grounds in the village of Evergem. A ten minute walk to tram station (bring coins to get a ticket from the machine.) Then 15-20 minute tram journey into the centre of Ghent. Continental breakfast served in the old stables which was very nice. Parking on site.

Private gardens, friendly welcoming host with great atmosphere, very relaxing”

Excellent setting in a private garden. Very large and spacious room with stylish and chic furniture. a little unusual as bath was in same room as bed. Yan the host was brilliant and very friendly making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, without being intrusive, he makes the stay. Sells good beer as well. The geese can be noisy but along with the ducks they make the atmosphere of the place, very tranquil and relaxing, enjoyed our stay and would recommend
