A nice tidy motor inn in a great location

We had to spend a night in Traralgon while our car was in for work and I chose this motor inn because of its position over the road from Stockland shopping centre. We wouldn't have a car to use so would need to walk everywhere. The room was easy to book and the lady who served us was friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

Won't be coming back

Motel on the outside is tired and could use a facelift. Rooms were OK but were not serviced and this was poor considering the price paid.

The Gipps is a place you stay when you cant find anywhere else for a night. Itys not pretty and not particularly clean. Its also really noisy in the room, even though I had a room far down the end away from the road. Not somewhere you'd stay twice or for a few nights. The photos look pretty, be she ain't.

Old out dated no hand rail to get in the spa bath for shower and water goes all over the floor and very slippery tiles on step bathroom floor.

Average Motel

Best Western Govenor Gipps is located at the east end of the town and a short walk to shops and restaurants.The room was fairly typical, not large but clean and reasonably comfortable. Internet worked well and no issues there but the TV had only a few channels and not good. There is a work desk but no power points nearby. Overall, an average experience.
