Our stay here was delightful. The Beachcomber is beautifully situated on Tuggerah Lake, and the perfect position to watch the setting sun across the Lake. Delicious food in the Bistro & at Pelicans for breakfast the next morning. We loved the views of the Lake from the Bistro balcony. We stayed in a room without a view however it was still really comfortable.
We hope to return soon!

It’s not expected the staff open our room without knock the door.

The hotel is nice and has a beautiful water view. However, we were quite surprised when a receptionist suddenly opened our room door without knocking first and asked, “Did you call us?”
We understand that the staff may have had a reason to come to the room, but we feel that hotel staff should always knock and wait for a response before opening a guest’s room door. It was quite unexpected and made us feel uncomfortable.
Other than this incident, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel was lovely.

The 'new' Beachcomber Hotel: a gem in the Central Coast

Our initial visit to the Beachcomber at Toukley following its refurbishment was highly impressive. The owners have completed an outstanding renovation, resulting in a refreshed aesthetic, sophisticated decor, and contemporary architectural elements throughout the premises. The culinary offerings were exceptional, rivaling the quality typically found in upscale à la carte establishments rather than a conventional pub setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Excellent. The staff are amazing and so accommodating.. weather so so which limited activities. Food was good and location was great.. can recommend highly. This is our second stay and we are happy

Great Luxury Escape!

We had a luxury escape deal with a Waterview Deluxe King room. The secret to this hotel is choose your room well, some are overlooking carpark and main road but our room overlooking the water and pool was faultless. Clean, spacious and the view was beautiful. Teas, coffee and coffee machine, biscuits all added up to a comfortable stay. Bed was so comfortable, pillows great and shower pressure great. Housekeeping was done while we were at breakfast. Loved that!
From the minute we arrived staff were sensational in every area although Kelsie was probably outstanding.
There is a lift to rooms, bistro and pool so mobility friendly. Pool has steps and a rail. The lounges are plentiful and comfortable. There is a poolbar but wasnt open when we were there.
We dined at the Bistro everynight. We found food really good so probably just what you choose matters. There were some negative reviews about food but we found it great.
Breakfast was excellent but would order eggs after continental selection as our eggs came out quick without a chance to have cereal etc. Barista coffee was included and very comfy seats, unlike the Bistro. My only gripe was bistro seats were uncomfortable to say the least although outside seats were bit better.
Overall there was nothing we could fault this hotel on apart from bistro chairs being uncomfortable.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel, but book a decent room. It makes all the difference!
