A nice place to stay

A lovely location but perhaps the wrong time of year to visit. As well the restaurant was not open when we stayed. The room was fine but advertising that it had a kitchenette was somewhat misleading. There is no microwave or any means of cooking, and not even a salad bowl. The breakfast hamper was underwhelming.

Hi and thanks for your review. Our full restaurant menu is available Thursday - Sunday for lunch. On other days, we have our cellar door menu which has delicious platters, dips and more.
We hope you had the chance to visit at least our lovely cellar door on your stay!

Mixed Review

Most disappointed we were denied access 1 hour before check in at 2 pm. After a four hour drive we were looking to change and freshen up before a wedding in Geelong at 2.00pm. I phoned to request a 1 hour earlier check in - a couple of days before. I had to follow up with a further phone call due to no return call, only to be advised they could not assist with this request. The open plan bathroom/toilet was not to our liking - a door would have been a simple solution. The split system did not heat the room and it became very cold inside. However, on the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, the continental breakfast, complimentary champagne and view of the vineyard from your room were vey nice.

A great place to stay!

We spent two nights in one of the on-site pods. Very comfortable and well appointed, looking out to the olive grove.
The cheese platter, wine and breakfast was a great addition.
Would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning!

Stunning place to stay! Attended a beautiful wedding there. Perfect location for a quiet getaway but close enough to the city to find everything you might need. Room was beautiful and the view is amazing. We had our 11month old stay in the room with us for 2 nights and didn't feel cramped. Food was amazing and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely well worth the money. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!

Anniversary 2 nights away

We had a great experience at Mount Duneed Estate. Bed was very comfortable, Thank you for the Wine and cheese which was included in our Booking via luxury escape. Breakfast in room was fantastic and plenty. Shower wonderful and we did use the outdoor bath in the evening even though it was a cooler evening the water was nice and hot. Walk through the olive grove is a must. The only thing to watch out for when booking is if there is a wedding on and the reception may go on till 11pm as noise caries from that. In case you really wanted a very quiet get away. But there is a cut off which is a good thing and all was quiet with Butterflies and bird life abound. We didn't get a chance to eat at their estate restaurant maybe next time. Many thanks to Luxury escapes and Mount Duneed Estate as everything went smoothly and we had a most relaxing time away.
