Home in Ushuaia

One of those places that gives a home feel from the first minute. Everything is simple, but very well cared for: clean, cozy and with warm rooms that invite to stay longer under the edredom.
The edredom of feathers deserves special mention. Literally hugs you and makes one of the best dreams of life.
Breakfast is simple but delicious. And a great detail: you can order eggs made on time, delicious.
The location also helps a lot. It is close to the main street, so you can do a lot of things on foot. The view is beautiful and the place has something kind of hard to explain... an almost magical atmosphere.
I also liked the room we stayed in: there was a door separating the space from the couple and the children, which makes a lot of difference for those who travel in family.
Another charm is that it seems to be one of the few houses left in the region, surrounded by newer buildings. This gives the place even more personality.
Weak points:
The bathroom has a rather challenging detail: the shower is tight and the triangular ceiling is low, so we hit our heads a few times.
And there's no blackout. In summer, those who sleep better in total darkness might want to take an eye-catch.
In general, it is that type of accommodation that does not impress by luxury, but conquers by coziness. A place to sleep well, wake up slowly and feel at home.

Disappointment

Very old hotel, very simple and breakfast very weak! Beautiful view and great location! Not for couples and romance, only for warriors in Ushuaia! Unfortunately we didn't see the hotel before I closed the travel package because if we had seen it I would not go in it and would spend a little more to be better staying in a couple! Careful and helpful staff

Old noisy room with mold on ceiling especially in shower. View of bay limited. Dated carpet. Terrible WiFi-did not work half of our stay. Not much for ‘breakfast’. Would have expected a bit more for price paid

It’s a very old building but functional. Staff are like they own it. Personnel and fixated on helping you. Very well done basic breakfast with homemade croissants. Thanks Martina for spoiling me.

We stayed at Flor Austral for 4 days and it was great! Our highlights were the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and a perfect breakfast to kickstart our days. The location was close by the main road also. Have nothing but positive things to say.
