No air conditioning in 96 degrees outside

Looks nice outside and rooms are nice but there is NO air conditioning and is 96 degrees outside. Won't be able to sleep tonight!!

life-threatening cancer diagnosis is no reason for free cancellation at this hotel

Scandalous experience with Dormero Hotel Worms. Because of a life-threatening cancer diagnosis in my wife, our journey in September 2026 is absolutely impossible. Despite an official medical certificate from the treating oncologist and explicit support from Booking.com for our request, the hotel management refuses any kind of humanity or refund. We do not do that was the answer. emailing the head office, to the management, request via Booking.com does not even produce a response.
The intermediary, Booking.com, also supports our request for free cancellation, but the hotel remains mouse-quiet.
The communication impossible: emails are simply ignored. Legally, the hotel is in breach of its duty of damage control (§ 537 BGB); there was still more than 3 weeks months left to re-let the room. All this is ignored. Apart from a lack of humanity, the hotel is therefore also ignoring German law, which stipulates that the Hotel must refund us the cost of breakfast, cleaning, local taxes and Booking.com's commission and the statutory German interest rate of 5%. Not responding and thus harming customers with a medical emergency situation tends to be a scam! Unworthy of a brand like DROMERO. We demand the full refund of € 298.28. If this is not settled by 29 April, we will escalate this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC), the payment service we used that can recover the amount and the media."

A GOOD HOTEL

For business reasons I stayed at this hotel for five days. The property is clean, the staff friendly and the area where it is located is quiet, ideal for resting, as well as being just minutes from the center. The rooms are spacious, the TV is large and the bathroom has all the necessary accessories. Breakfast is included in the daily price, which is normal. I point out that if you want to clean the room every day you must request it.
Only note: if you arrive by car, be careful because the internal parking is charged with daily rate.

Good hotel near the city unsuitable for hot seasons

A nice hotel in a good location, unfortunately booked in the summer month. No room has air conditioning. Our room was on the 4 floor under the roof. The outside temperatures were also around 30 degrees at night. during the day certainly much higher. When we entered the room it felt like a sauna visit. Even with the windows open, no eye was closed. A fan was also not available. I'm sure the night would have been more pleasant in the car. I think if I want to sleep in a hotel, then I want to find sleep too. That was impossible here. Free parking is not available for disabled people. For an unguarded and unsecured parking space, 15€ per night is payable. I don't think it's funny, on the contrary.
But I must also praise one thing. The hotel has an elevator, benefit for people with walking difficulties. And the breakfast is very good.
