Great house.
Now we have already been home for a week, but the seaside villa
is still in our thoughts. Very, very clean hotel, absolutely
top-notch staff, the owner's mother knows how to run a hotel. And the owner
has everything under control, the display in the room is correct.
----You can be sure that we will do everything to satisfy you---
That says it all!!!!
Underground parking, bicycles, a small sauna, and the breakfast buffet fulfills your
every wish. We were in Sylt over Pentecost, where you pay for parking,
and it's not cheap.

Pleasant stay, but too many let downs - think carefully
We stayed at the Seevilla Hotel for 3 nights and came away with mixed feelings. There are certainly some very positive aspects, but unfortunately several issues meant that we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
Let's start with the positives. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection of fresh food, and enjoying it in the garden on a sunny morning was a lovely way to start the day. The staff we met during our stay were also consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Unfortunately, our experience had already been affected before we even arrived. We had booked one of the suites several weeks in advance through Booking.com, only to receive an email the day before our stay informing us that our room was no longer available and that we had been moved to another room.
The explanation offered wasn't particularly convincing, and while we were given a small refund to reflect the difference in room category, it felt more like a price adjustment than genuine compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment.
The replacement room was described as the next best in the hotel, but in our opinion it simply didn't justify the price.
The hotel itself is pleasant and family-run, with the benefit of free underground parking, although the spaces are quite tight. The location is also good, slightly away from the busiest lakeside area, making it quieter while still being within easy walking distance of the bus stop. We found the local buses an excellent way to explore the area without using the car.
The hotel, however, is beginning to show its age. The rooms feel somewhat dated, with older carpets and décor that would benefit from modernisation over the next few years.
The garden was another disappointment. The website suggests an attractive garden setting, but in reality, apart from a small area to one side, it is largely a large lawn with relatively basic seating and wonky sun umbrellas, like a bad afterthought. During our visit the grass was mostly brown from the hot weather, and there was little in the way of landscaped areas or places to relax. It wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't the attractive feature we had expected.
There is also no restaurant for dinner, so you'll need to eat elsewhere in the evening. While drinks are available, the bar is not always attended, and we often had to look for someone before being served.
Overall, this is not a bad hotel. The breakfast and friendly staff are definite strengths. However, the handling of our booking, the dated rooms and the gap between expectation and reality in several areas meant that we left feeling disappointed.
There are a number of newer and more modern hotels around Lake Constance, and next time we would probably choose one of those instead.

Superb accommodation for feeling good
We would give 7 out of 5 stars - why?

Service was excellent - both at breakfast, the reception, and room service
Breakfast:
Huge selection (various yogurt types, juices, cheeses.....) of food. The service staff were diligent and very attentive!!!
Room:
We loved that the room always had a fresh lemon scent when we entered. We really liked the ambiance; all the furniture had some or complete woven/basket elements, which created a cozy atmosphere. A fruit basket was ready. The mattresses were great. We had the garden studio with a view of the beautifully landscaped garden.
Location:
The path to both the boat dock and the beach was reachable in 5 minutes. The stilt houses were also easily accessible on foot across the street.
Conclusion:
We felt very comfortable in the hotel and will definitely come back again.

Charming hotel on Lake Constance
Lovely hotel in this small village on Lake Constance. Everything is taken care of in detail. The rooms are equipped with all comforts and tastefully furnished. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice from savory to sweet from hot to cold. Very pleasant restaurant.
Too bad the restaurant did not also serve dinner in the period when we were there (May
26). Excellent reception and helpful staff.
We stayed there for 3 nights and if we were to return to Lake Constance we would very much return.

You feel comfortable
My wife and I had a birthday in May and we were at the lakeside villa.
First things first : the staff is super friendly and you get every wish
met. The house is very, very well maintained and the ladies make a great
Job. Breakfast is good, unfortunately seasonal fruit ( apples, strawberries, raspberries etc. ) are missing.
The car has space in the underground garage at no cost, and bicycles can be
borrowing. Very good. The house is very quiet and in the beds you sleep well.
What we missed is the offer of a small menu at the
Evening , where you can join other guests at the bar afterwards

recommend.
